AN ECM Strategy as a Foundation
Information is the lifeblood of any organisation. The management of information is crucial to the strategic goals of an organisation and as such should command the attention of executive management.
An ECM strategy assists the organisation with planning to manage this valuable resource. Most organizations grapple with the issues related to ECM – organisations know that they could (and should) do more with the information assets they manage but technology alone does not provide the answer. An ECM strategy brings together the important elements of people, process, information and technology providing a clear roadmap to make the organisation more efficient and to comply with standards, legal and administrative guidelines.
NokusaEI has developed a proprietary methodology, and assists clients in any or all of the following phases of the ECM lifecycle:

The first five steps are technology and product independent, and ensure that ECM functionality is designed and selected based on real business reasons, rather than from a technology product perspective.
